I have recently gotten a grant for wildlife habitat improvement. This will last several years and include clearings for deer sanctuary, food plot plantings,erosion control and forest enhancement. I am especially interested in habitat for the grouse,turkey,deer,elk,fish and bear which are numerous as well as mountain lion which is much more elusive. We began in '98 by planting beaver to establish their presence on the stream.
